Hi, Welcome to Peach Orchard Creations, where we like to add a touch of handmade to this modern world. We are so happy you found us and hope you enjoy what you see! This journey of creativity started out as my favorite past time and quickly grew into so much more. Each of my items are handmade from start to finish in my in house studio. (AKA my guest bedroom :)) I tak

e great pride in my work and strive to give great attention to detail with each piece I make. Quilts are my favorite item to create, specifically baby quilts. The design, piecing, and quilting all give such room for creativity and imagination. The best part is seeing it all come together in the end and then seeing someone enjoy their treasure. Wrapping up in a handmade quilt brings such a comforting feeling, so much more than a blanket. All my quilts are pieced on my sewing machine and quilted with a longarm quilter. I also have a soft spot for pillows I think I have bought enough to fill my home a few times over. No matter how many I bought I always thought of ideas for them, so I finally decided I would just make them. I am always open to ideas so if you have something you want send me a message and we can collaborate to make you something you will LOVE.

Texas AG Quilt 2022 🐎
Each year the Texas Ag Commission holds a quilt blow completions. We are given a theme and some fabric requirements.

Each block of this quilt was made by a different Texas quilter. This years theme was Texas Rodeo!

My block was selected from many to be part of this 20 block quilt to represent Texas Rodeo! I’m very proud of this block as I grew up riding for the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo so it was a super cool accomplishment!

I was inspired by a photo of a dear friend posting the colors at the rodeo! ❤️

Well it’s been three weeks since I had my son and it’s gone by so quickly! 👶🏻

☀️I’ve enjoy all the snuggles with both of my kids and the slow mornings. My type A personality is ready to get back to a schedule but I’m trying to hard to embrace this time.

For now I will just share quilty photos to fill my creative soul!

🧶This is my Twine quilt that I’m so in LOVE with! It’s so bright and energizing! I can not wait to quilt on this one once I get back upstairs!

Quilt Camp QAL Week 13 - Rock Climbing 🧗‍♀️

You are gonna love these tumblers! They whip together so quick.

This was my first time with them and I really enjoyed the asymmetry of them!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦I’m so proud of myself for making it all the way through this quilt along while growing our family!

Next week we will throw the sashing on and have a beating modern quilt top ready for quilting! 🥰

Quilt Camp QAL Week 12 - Canoe Race 🛶
First off canoeing and kayaking are one of my favorite water activities. I love the pace of it and the calmness of it so!

This block was super fun working with a half hexie, parallelogram, and a triangle made for a quick and painless block!

even has a whole quilt with this design called the Falling Ribbon Quilt.

Quilt Camp QAL Week 11
Lantern Block 💡

Half rectangle triangles steal the show in this block!
How fun does this block look. It’s totally giving me a retro vibe too!
Erin knocked it out with this pattern.
I’m so sad we only have two blocks left after this camp has been a blast!!! 🏕

Quilt Camp QAL Week 10 - Snack Time 🍦

Are you a snacker??? Cause if so me and you both! LOL

Ask anyone I have always been a snacker and one of the best parts of camp was all the awesome snacks and desserts at meal times!

This week at quilt camp we are focusing on curves and foundation paper piecing. It sounds like a lot but you will be so proud of yourself once you knock out this block!

Plus its so cute you practically want to eat it!

I have made two different resources for you to feel confident and informed as you complete this block. I have a blog for you and a full youtube tutorial.

Quilt Camp QAL Week 9 - Due North 🧭
What does the triangle say to the circle?
Give me your best guess in the comments.

This week quilt camp is focused on equilateral triangles and I was nervous but it turned out to be a favorite block of mine!

All of the crisp and sharp points are so eye catching and fun to peice.

Im not gonna lie I had to use the seam ripper on this one a few times but nothing too bad. Just so learning opportunities.

Do not stress if you didn’t get to jump in on this quilt along. We will be offering the pattern in whole in late August!

Happy July 1st

It’s such an exciting month for myself and my family! It’s my birthday month and soon to be for my son too!!!

Onto quilty business congratulations to you are the lucky winner of the Twine giftaway!

Also the weather has been so strange for our area so I still don’t have a solid photo of my throw size Twine quilt so for today you will just have to enjoy this swirl of it!

🤞hopefully this afternoon will provide me with a better opportunity to get the dreamy photo I’m imagining!
