What a night at the Louisiana Boardwalk! 🎠

Last night, we celebrated the grand opening of our beloved carousel, and it was wonderful to see families, friends, and our community come together to enjoy a little piece of Bossier City magic.

After months of restoration and anticipation, seeing the carousel spinning again and the smiles it brought made the evening even more special.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!

The carousel is officially OPEN Thursday–Sunday! Come take a spin, make some memories, and enjoy everything the Boardwalk has to offer. We can’t wait to see you!

Carousel Hours:
Thursday + Friday | 5–8 PM
Saturday | 12 PM–8 PM
Sunday | 12 PM–7 PM

From Oaxaca to North Louisiana, Chef Gabriel Balderas has built a life around his love of food, family, and the belief that great food begins long before it reaches the table.

In “From Oaxaca to North Louisiana: A Farm-to-Table Life,” Gabe shares a little more about his journey, the experiences that have shaped his approach to cooking, and his passion for growing and sourcing ingredients through Nourishing Farms. It’s a wonderful look at the heart behind the food and the work that goes into bringing it all together.

Tomorrow is the big day! 🎠

Our historic carousel officially reopens at the Louisiana Boardwalk, and we’re celebrating from 5–8 PM!

Bring the kids and enjoy free carousel rides for the first hour, concessions, restaurant specials at The Brine, music from DJ Krystal "Chica" Montez, and a photo booth to capture the fun.

The wait is almost over! 🎠

Chef Gabriel Balderas has been hard at work bringing a beloved piece of Bossier City history back to life, and we’re just days away from welcoming everyone aboard!

A special thank you to Krystal "Chica" Montez and K945 for sharing the story behind the restoration and what this carousel means to our community.

Join us Thursday, October 15, from 5–8 PM for our Carousel Grand Opening at The Brine!

Bring the kids for FREE carousel rides from 5–6 PM, music by DJ Chica, a photo booth, concessions, and restaurant specials throughout the evening.

We’re also hiring! We’re looking for carousel operators to join our team, with shifts available Thursday through Sunday. If you or someone you know would love to be part of bringing this Bossier City tradition back, we’d love to hear from you!
