Little Farm On The Edge Of Town

Little Farm On The Edge Of Town Tucked beneath 200-year-old oak trees on 6 peaceful acres, our chickens roam freely just as nature intended.

Here, we’re chasing those beautiful rainbow-colored eggs while learning, growing, and stewarding the land we’ve been blessed with.

Figured it’s time for a little introduction into who runs Little Farm on the Edge of Town.
It’s me, Ashley.

I’ve always felt that animals were one of God’s gifts to us. There is something incredibly special about the way they love, trust, and simply stay by our side. Sometimes I think the love we receive from animals is one of the closest little glimpses of God’s love for us that we get to experience here on earth.

I’ve always loved animals, but I never imagined that love would lead me here.

What started with wanting a few chickens and fresh eggs from hens I knew were well cared for, what they were eating, and where my food was coming from, slowly turned into something so much bigger.

The chickens became a hobby.
The hobby became a passion.
And the passion became a little farm that has changed my life.

Little Farm on the Edge of Town is home to more chickens than I ever imagined having, along with all the beautiful chaos that comes with farm life. 😂🐔

But this page isn’t really just about chickens.

It’s about the connection between people, animals, food, faith, and the simple things in life that remind us what really matters.

I’ll share the beautiful moments here, but I’ll also share the messy ones. The hatching days that don’t go as planned. The hard lessons. The animals that steal our hearts. The losses that hurt. The funny moments that make me laugh until I cry. And all the little moments in between that make farm life so special.

Caring for animals has taught me patience, responsibility, compassion, and more about myself than I ever expected.

And somewhere along the way, this little farm became more than a hobby. It became a place where I found purpose, peace, friendship, and a community I never knew I needed.

So if you’re new here, welcome.

I’m so glad you’re part of this little corner of the internet.

This is my story, these are my animals, and this is Little Farm on the Edge of Town.
