The Cambridge Packing Company Inc. was founded in 1923 by Carl and Sophia Rodman as a small meat market in Central Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. The original name of the firm was Carl's Market Inc., and in a few short years, the store became a landmark in the area. Today, as a third generation family owned business, led by Bruce Rodman and Alan Roberts for the past 30 y
ears, we have great respect for the past. As business owners today, we have a responsibility to the future. Here at Cambridge Packing Co. we feel the future is now. Our clients have become highly educated and sophisticated in their operations; which in turn has made their customers more educated and demanding more from their dining experience. Cambridge Packing Company is strategically located in Boston, Massachusetts, where within a 200 mile radius, there are 12 million foodservice customers, (excluding the New York metro area). Cambridge Packing Company sells direct to the foodservice operator, who for the most part are larger independently-owner full-service restaurant, national and regional multi-unit restaurant chains, independent hotels & motels, national hotel chains in the northeast, caterers and in-plant contract foodservice operators, hospitals, nursing home chains, schools, large universities and private country clubs. We are committed to customizing programs based on the needs of the each and every client. By listening, understanding and facilitating, we allow the client to design the level of service. We always offer flexibility and professionalism. Our programs offer our clients true natural beef, antibiotic and hormone free poultry, pork and lamb along with sustainably caught seafood.
