Brunches of Boston Brunches of Boston explores brunch culture throughout the Boston area and provides original reviews, recipes, events and more.

One day the founder of Brunches of Boston, Alie got fed up with her inability to quickly find a good brunch spot in Boston. Every weekend she would do a Google search and stumble upon the same couple of articles featuring the same top brunch spots or scroll through endless pages of Yelp desperate for the answer to her ever-imposing question:

WHERE SHOULD I BRUNCH IN BOSTON? And hence, Brunches of Boston was born. Originally just an Instagram account (), Alie set out to review every brunch in Boston based on a 1-5 scale using the same criteria for each (scroll down for more on the rating scale). After gaining traction as the preeminent brunch review account in Boston, Brunches of Boston has expanded into a full brunch culture brand and has launched it's official website brunchesofboston.com. In additional to it's signature reviews, Brunches of Boston partners with local businesses and restaurants to host awesome brunch events around the city to further enhance the Boston brunch culture. Want to write for or partner with Brunches of Boston? Email [email protected] for details and to learn how to apply. The Rating Scale

There are six total categories that each brunch is based on, each of which is assigned a number 1-5 with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Then the overall rating is assigned by considering each individual score and averaging a final rating. The six categories brunch is rated on are:

-Menu breadth
-Price
-Brunch Atmosphere
-Food Quality
-Food Taste
-Portion Size

We do not deduct points for alcohol, however if a brunch has exceptionally good brunch cocktails we will consider that in our rating and review.

🍕 Boston is getting a whole weekend dedicated to pizza! The The Boston Pizza Festival returns to City Hall Plaza September 19–20, 2026, bringing together pizza makers, live music, entertainment, and plenty of slices!

One spot I’m especially excited to see there? CeCarré Pizza & Provisions 🤤

Their Roman-style pinsa is light and crispy, with everything from the classic mozzarella, pecorino, tomato, parmigiano and basil to some seriously creative pies—including their La Zarina, topped with béchamel, potato, Gruyère, crème fraîche, sturgeon caviar, chives and edible gold.

They also have globally inspired options like Masala Romano, Seoul Fire, Casablanca Heat, and the Fenway Park pizza, with hot dogs and French fries.

Basically, come hungry. 👀🍕

Some nights have a way of turning into an experience you didn’t expect✨

We started the evening at Matria Boston in the Seaport, lingering over dinner before heading outside for a s’mores experience around the fire. From Italian-inspired plates to toasted marshmallows, it was a pretty perfect way to spend an evening in the city. 🔥🍫

Brunch, but make it a cruise. 🥂🚢

Classic Harbor Line Boston has a brunch sailing, which combines a buffet-style brunch, drinks, commentary, and some seriously good Boston Harbor views—all while you cruise past the city skyline. Basically, everything you need for a weekend that refuses to be boring. 🍾☀️

Dinner at Rosa y Marigold 🌹

We went all in on the blue cod ceviche, seafood rice, shrimp skewers, and a pisco sour — and everything was packed with flavor.

The space is colorful, lively, and perfect for a fun Boston night out. And yes, they do brunch too, so you can come back for a daytime visit! ✨

Brunch at Lulu's Allston 🍳🥞🍹

The menu is stacked with options, from the fluffy pancakes and sticky buns to a Benny flight if you can’t commit to just one. We also tried the banh mi sandwich and breakfast burrito, plus a few cocktails to make it a proper brunch.

Come hungry—there’s a little something for everyone on this menu!

A jazz brunch with a mezcal flight? Welcome to Sabina Mezcaleria 🎷🥃

Created by Boston restaurateur Allan Rodriguez to give mezcal—and Mexican food—a bigger spotlight in the city, the menu goes way beyond your standard tacos and margaritas, with traditional Mexican flavors mixed with more unexpected dishes and ingredients.

For brunch, we tried everything from chilaquiles and burgers to hashbrown eggs Benny and French toast, paired with a flight of mezcals to taste the differences between the varieties!
