Chris was born in Haiti, and as a kid would go with his father, a beet farmer, to the local market. Even from a young age, Chris wanted to eventually run his own business like his father. Chris immigrated to America in 1984, and started working for his uncle at World's Best Food Market. In 1999, Chris' uncle decided to leave the business, and Chris had a chance to fulfill his dream by taking over

as the owner of World's Best. Serving our Community:
World's Best is more than just a business to Chris, it is a chance to give back to the people in the community he loves. Not only does World's Best offer a great selection of basic convenience items, but it also offers a wide array of healthy fruit and vegetable options, so that families in the community can have a chance to live and eat healthier.

Since taking over World's Best, Chris has run the business with his uncle Leon and Sister Paulette, where they continue to provide a great selection of products, fair prices, healthy options and friendly service to the people of Mattapan and beyond.
