Saperavi Brothers Wine Merchant

Saperavi Brothers Wine Merchant Bringing natural Georgian wine to the United States Georgia is home to the worlds oldest winemaking tradition. Our mission is to change that.

The beverage is a part of its cultural fabric and national identity more so than any other place in the world. Generations of Georgian families make amazing and unique wines, yet most Westerners, even connoisseurs have never tasted real Georgian wine. We want to expand your palette past the status quo by introducing you to real Georgian wine, wine that's sustainably harvested and without any chemi

cal alternation. We represent carefully selected producers, who not only make wines of the highest quality, but also adhere to and cherish the rich history and tradition of Georgian winemaking.

Supra Dinner 5:30pm - 7:30pm
An intimate, sit-down supra dinner. This experience is designed to introduce a dining tradition from the East that is both unpretentious and deeply rooted in culture. Expect conversation, philosophy, and toasting, accompanied by delicious Georgian inspired dishes served family style. After dinner, we will grow in numbers and transition into an evening of wine festival styled tasting and music.

Wine Salon 7:30pm - 10:30pm
Fashioned after a wine festival, you’ll have the chance to taste a wide variety of wines made by winemakers from Georgia (the country). There’s a reason this event is taking place in an art gallery—wine, like art, is meant to be experienced. Accompanied by bites, music, and laid-back vibes, this will be an easygoing night of tipsy conversation. This is the way of the East. Come hang out with like-minded people who see wine as culture, not status.

New to the block. Already loved. Russ & Mimi’s is the neighborhood’s newest go-to spot for great food, natural wine, and serious good vibes. Kelly and Nicole are both veterans of the restaurant world, and have brought their style, service, and aesthetics to Roslindale, creating a market that feels instantly welcoming.

Think killer breakfast and lunch, great coffee, and a natural wine selection that punches way above its weight. It’s the kind of place where you grab a morning sandwich, pick up dinner essentials, and maybe leave with a bottle you can’t wait to open.

Designed as a cozy neighborhood haven, Russ & Mimi’s keeps things unpretentious and a part of the community. They continue to be a big supporter of Georgian wines, hosting Saperavi Brothers with regular tastings. Check in for the next pour of our new producers!

When it comes to an incredible selection, honest service, and fair pricing, nothing compares to Burlington Wine And Spirits. Their story started when two brothers took over the family store and created a regional success story. Considered the north shore king of whiskey, and with a huge wine selection, they came to have one of the largest Georgian wine selections in the state. Burlington goes above and beyond to curate wines, spirits, and beers for every taste, offering a pour-before-you-buy experience so you can find what truly fits your taste. At any given time, you’ll find two shopping carts full of open bottles ready for sampling, a testament to how much they care about your enjoyment and confidence in every purchase.

They also host engaging seminars and events featuring wines from around the world, helping you connect with brands, learn about wine culture, and deepen your appreciation of the craft.
What really sets them apart? Transparency. Burlington Wine & Spirits is upfront about their process, pricing, and partnerships with no gimmicks or false promises, just genuine passion for what they do.

Ask questions, explore, and taste freely- the team is always ready to help and share their knowledge. Their professionalism and commitment to customer experience make every visit worthwhile. You’ll leave with great bottles and even better insight into what you’re drinking, and as early supporters of Georgian wine, they are a must visit.

Located in Westborough, MA, Julio's Liquors is more than just a liquor store, it’s a 20,000 sq. ft. destination for serious drinking enthusiasts. Known for its huge selection and personable experience, Julio’s has built a national reputation, especially in the world of whiskey. They even host a regular talk show!

Wine lovers will find plenty to explore as well. Julio’s features over 3,000 wines from 16 countries and is proud to have been one of the earliest supporters and creators of a dedicated Georgian wine section in the U.S. Very few shops can build enough trust and support from their community to be able to offer such variety and depth. Saperavi Brothers has been there from day one and continues to represent a wide range of wines.

One of the most standout things about the shop is that Julio’s regularly hosts tasting events that bring the community together. Winemakers and knowledgeable brand ambassadors regularly conduct seminars and workshops which help you learn and expand your knowledge about wine. Keep an eye out for our upcoming events (Saperavi Brothers x Julio’s Liquors).

Whether you're hunting down a rare bottle, discovering a new favorite wine, or just enjoying a tasting with friends, Julio’s Liquors offers a retail experience that truly stands apart.

Some alcohol retailers are known as "destination shops" because people drive from out of state to take advantage of great knowledge and deals that are being offered.

If you are that type of wine buyer, chances are you’ve heard of Bin Ends Great Wine/Serious Savings. The story behind its two locations is just as compelling as what’s on the shelves.

Making wine something people can explore and share without pretense in today's commercialized world is an art - and few do it better. Owner John Hafferty comes from the restaurant world, and it shows. His approach to wine isn’t about trends or exclusivity- it’s about hospitality.

With shops in Braintree and Needham, Bin Ends reflects that spirit: approachable, thoughtful, and always evolving. The selection is curated with care- often featuring wines that are not available in every corner store, for example Chelti Winery , an exceptional Saperavi producer from Georgia (the country) However, what really makes Bin Ends a destination shop is the knowledge and vibe. It’s a place where curiosity is welcome, questions are encouraged, and the love of wine feels less like a commodity and more like a conversation.

John’s palate is sharp, but what sets him apart is his perspective. For him, wine is culture, history, and connection- and Bin Ends is his way of making that accessible to everyone. It’s a philosophy we share at Saperavi Brothers

If you haven’t stopped in yet, it’s worth a visit. With regular events and tastings, there is always a good reason to stop by.

One of the founders of Saperavi Brothers Wine Co. grew up right here in Newton—his parents still live on Langley Road. For years, Kosta watched wine shops come and go from Newton Centre, never quite connecting with the community or capturing its spirit.

Until now!

The Cork and Board isn’t just another wine shop—it’s a neighborhood gem. With a welcoming storefront and a deeply thoughtful selection, owner Ryan Gott has built something special. His shelves are a blend of iconic classics and emerging trends, showcasing a wine program that’s as diverse and dynamic as Newton itself.

We’re especially excited to see Georgian wines take their place alongside a growing Eastern European section. Wines from the mountainous corners of the Balkans and Caucasus—regions like Serbia, Bulgaria, and Georgia—have been made for thousands of years. Despite decades of Soviet-era homogenization, the soul of these wine cultures survived. Today, small and independent winemakers are reclaiming that legacy, bottling wines that are rich in character, history, and place.

If you've explored these wines, you know how excited the wine world is about this region. If you have not, The Cork and Board is the place to start. Also, stay tuned—there’s a tasting coming later this month you won’t want to miss.
