Josh Streitmatter Cattle is looking for 2–3 people to join our team this fall and help prepare show cattle for our annual sale.
🗓 Mid-August through Mid-October
📍 Boswell, IN (about 30 minutes west of Purdue)
💲 Competitive hourly pay
⏰ Flexible scheduling
🐂 Previous show cattle or sale cattle experience is required.
Responsibilities include:
• Washing cattle
• Blowing & daily hair care
• General sale preparation
This position is a great fit for high school students, college students, or other young adults with cattle experience who enjoy working with quality livestock.
We’ve been fortunate to have several Purdue students work with us over the years, and it’s become one of our favorite parts of the fall. We enjoy creating a fun, welcoming environment where our crew can gain hands-on experience, build relationships, and have a place that feels a little like home. Having been in their shoes ourselves, we love mentoring young people as they pursue their goals in agriculture.
