IMPORTANT: Did you grow sweet pea flowers this year? Please don't eat the seeds/pods that your plant may be producing right about now. Sweet peas and snap/snow/English peas are different kinds of plants, and the flowering sweet peas contain toxic compounds in all their parts. I mention this because of a conversation with a customer who was eating her sweet pea seed pods. Make sure your children know not to eat plants/berries in the wild or your landscape without your explicit approval. **If someone has ingested something and collapses, has a seizure or has trouble breathing call 911.**For less immediate need, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222.

This is your Monday reminder! Snipes Mountain Ranch will deliver your pre-ordered beef to the market on this Friday. Visit their site to place an order by noon Wednesday. I made chimichurri sauce last night in anticipation of my order. Recipe in the comments.

Safety Check - School Bus Laws🚌

The first day of school is officially two weeks away (for most students), which means those big yellow buses will be rolling again!

Now's the time for a quick refresher on when you need to STOP for those flashing red lights.
🛑 Never pass a stopped school bus when you're required to stop.
👀 Watch for students entering or crossing the roadway.
🚗 Give buses plenty of room and be prepared for frequent stops.
