Finn Creek Farm & U-Pick

Thanks so much to everyone who came out for our first ever Chicken Race! It was a great turnout, the energy was amazing, and we had a blast watching the feathers fly for a great cause. Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community and donors, we are thrilled to announce that we raised over $500 for the Friends of Boulder Community Library! A big thanks to the Windsor Bar for serving up great drinks, too.

We are still laughing after looking back at Friday night's highlights, and we would love to see the night through your lens, too! Feel free to drop your favorite videos and pictures in the comments below, or send them in a private message if you captured some fun moments. If you have any creative or silly ideas for making the next race even more fun, we would love to hear your thoughts. Stay tuned to our page because we are already plotting the next big race, and you won’t want to miss it!

IT'S RACE DAY AND TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! 🐓💨

Get ready for a wild night of pure, unadulterated poultry chaos, and come support the Boulder Community Library 📚 The Windsor Bar will be serving up cold drinks from our farmstand!🍻

Bring your friends, your family, and your competitive spirit. Make sure you are here by 6:30PM to scout the talent and pick your champion chicken (or turkey!) for the big race. 🏁

📢 THE RULES OF THE RACE:
1. No bribing the athletes with fancy treats. 🌽
2. Loud, aggressive cheering is mandatory. 🗣️
3. If a chicken flies off course and lands on you, you are legally obligated to name it. 🐔

Seriously, though - there will be 2 separate heats of 10 birds each. Then, the top 3 birds from each heat will compete in the Championship Race.

Hope to see you soon for a hilarious, slightly crazy evening to support an amazing local cause!

We put the finishing touches on our chicken racetrack today! Now we just have to get our 20 racing ladies ready for the big race on Friday!

They will have saddles, and maybe even hats!! We could use some help coming up with fun names for these girls...any ideas?

One of our return pickers from last year brought me such a special treat this week - the most delicious honeyberry vodka...that she made! The bad news is, I won't be sharing it, but the good news is we are open this weekend and here's what's ready to pick!

Message us to let us know when you want to come pick!

We are excited to announce that our U-Pick is officially open for the season! We made some updates to the Farmstand and had some great helpers when we were cleaning and reorganizing. 😂

Strawberries are still a couple weeks out, but we have tons of honeyberries and a few other veggies and herbs! Message us to schedule a time to come out and pick!
