Since it's almost Taco Tuesday I figured why not? Your authentic Mexican addiction fix is most definitely at La Choza in NoBo. This place is everything I want it to be, a hole in the wall Mexican joint with good cheap food. I was recommended here for the fajitas, but since I am a major taco addict, I haven't quite gotten there yet... Thank you La Choza and see you again soon!

Classic taco truck style tacos without the truck! My search for that authentic taste ends here (so far). This is the Taco Platter with generous portion of meat, refried beans and Mexican rice. My second time here and I had to choose the Al Pastor again because it was just too good. This time I also got the Barbacoa which was also very tender and perfectly spiced. Had the chicken last time which was shredded with crispy edges. I think you can't go wrong with any of their meats.

Breakfast burrito ALERT! YES PLEASE! I'm a sucker (as you may as well be) for a bomb ass breakfast burrito. My favorite? Well, I have a few... But I have to admit that Blackbelly's may be my absolute favorite for one particular reason.. 'Butcher's choice'! Each morning comes complete with a surprise breakfast meat (ham, sausage or chorizo), conveniently trapped inside a warm tortilla with eggs, cheese, and... wait for it... tater tots! I know, right? Brilliant!! Get there fast because these fly off the shelves. Literally, about 10 people walked out with one behind me while I took this pic. My Ramen fix has been fixed!!! FINALLY an authentic Ramen spot in Boulder! My Ramen and Izakaya on 3280 28th St. has made it a reality! This place has some amazing Japanese cuisine! The Ramen is great and their tapas are for real. They do happy hour from 5-7pm and have a large Japanese tapas menu (which I'll be enjoying very soon!). They are also closed from 3-5pm Mon-Fri.

EDITED: GHOST HAS CLOSED, SADLY.. If you haven't heard about The Ghost weekend brunch then now you have. Get over there and try it out. Next door to the Boulder Theater. Go.

Oh and try their non-brunch menu (pics to come). All sandwiches are panini grilled and they smoke all their meats overnight. Bob knows what's up.

We've done Zoe Ma Ma before, but there's still no substitute for some classic Chinese dishes. This here is the Cool Noodle topped with chicken, carrots, cucumber, bean sprouts and cilantro. Also added their amazing pork Steamy Bun and I dipped it in all of their Asian sauces. Great lunch! 谢谢 Zoe Ma Ma! Check them out at 10th and Pearl of you haven't.. or if you have.

D'Angelo's Alert! Feast your eyes on the best Philly Cheesesteak in town! Hands down, D'Angelo's has my heart in this category. If you're into ingredients oozing all over the place, then this is your spot for Philly Cheesesteaks. They are not shy with the ingredients. This is the Green Chili Cheese Steak. Chopped ribeye or chicken, grilled onions, green chili sauce and provolone. I obviously subbed provolone with Cheez Wiz, respectively.

Lookout Deli Zone. D'Angelos has your number. Behold, The Balboa breakfast sandwich! The best possible bread filled with fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, provolone and wait for it... Cheez Whiz! This puts my beloved Baby Kong to bed early. Did I mention the bread??? More to come on D'angelos.

Sushi Burritos?? Local restaurant Motomaki on 29th Street Mall is making them! I've heard good things about this place so I had to check it out. This was the Bahn Mi Roll. The Char siu pork and daikon were in perfect alliance with the kimchi and roasted jalapeño cilantro dressing that were wrapped so delicately within a seaweed wrapper. This place has an awesome build-your-own menu with option of anything in a roll or a bowl. Oh and they have frosty beverages..

Great taste of Cuba for being so far away from the place. Although being a sandwicheria, the plates are where I would put my money. The woman that owns this place knows her stuff and sticks to the traditional recipes and spices. Good stuff. Located on the corner of Folsom and Arapahoe. Happy hour from 3-6.
