New Release: Ethiopia Jimma ☕️ 
This is a naturally processed coffee from the Jimma Zone of the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Jimma has long been a significant coffee-producing region in Ethiopia, and we’re so excited to have the opportunity to showcase a coffee from Jimma alongside coffee from Yirgacheffe and Guji this year. This naturally processed lot is comprised of heirloom varieties that showcase the flavors of the region. We’re finding a deep tea-like earthiness, the intensity of fresh cacao, and a sweet, berry acidity in the cup.

Staff Spotlight: Meet Diana!  You’ll find Diana behind the bar at our Roastery Café and West Pearl! Get to know our barista and shift lead, from her roots in Balkan coffee culture to her love of vintage finds, art, and her cat, Frankie.  1. Tell us a little about yourself and your role with OZO.

Hey, I’m Diana! I’m a Barista and Shift Lead with OZO, and you’ll usually find me splitting my time between the Roastery Café and West Pearl. I’m originally from Serbia and spent many years in Michigan before eventually making my way to Colorado. Growing up in the Balkans, coffee culture has always been a big part of everyday life: a time to slow down, be present, and spend time with family and friends. That’s where my love for coffee started. I’ve been with OZO for almost two years and in the coffee industry for six.

2. If you could choose any superpower, what would it be?

Definitely teleportation. I’d love to be able to visit my family and friends no matter where in the world they are. I’d also use it for spontaneous trips to the coast — being a beach person in a landlocked state has its challenges.

3. What’s something you’re passionate about outside of coffee?

I’m passionate about art and pretty much anything that lets me be creative. I love hiking and exploring Colorado’s beautiful scenery, good live music, and spending time with my cat, Frankie.

4. What’s a hidden talent or hobby you have that might surprise people?

I’m really into thrifting and antiquing, especially hunting for true vintage clothing and pieces with a little history and character. I love the thrill of finding something unique that you probably wouldn’t come across in a regular store, and I like that I’m giving something a second life in the process.

5. Favorite local business?

I really like Two Hands Paperie. It’s one of my favorite places to go for my stationery and art needs, but honestly, I also just love browsing around and seeing what catches my eye!

Special Release: Guatemala Andrés Recinos Pérez ☕️

We are so excited to share the winning lot from the 2026 CODECH competition from Andrés Recinos Pérez. Every year the CODECH cooperative in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala hosts an internal competition for their members to showcase their crop and receive a premium for placing within the top 10. This year’s winner, Andrés, produced an excellent coffee with tons of red fruit sweetness and complex floral notes. The coffee blew the judges away and received the highest score on two of the three days of the competition. In addition to this achievement, this coffee also earned recognition as a finalist in the 2026 Global Coffee Awards.
