In the Mexican town of El Tenayo, Arturo Cruz watched his mother make salsa. Years later in New York City, it was easy to remember the ingredients because it was such a simple recipe. What matters is the time and attention given, which results in a perfectly balanced, roasted tomato salsa that enhances any meal or makes an incredible dip.
