β˜• Something new is here! Our new Gold Series: Colombia Honey Caturron.

This one is rare. Caturron is a hard-to-find variety unique to Colombia, and this lot from producer Luis Anibal Calderon at Finca Villa Betulia in Huila is a standout. It went through two 50-hour fermentations and honey processing, resulting in a complex cup with notes of mint, black cherry, and chai spice.

We only have a small amount - and like all Gold Series coffees, once it's sold out, it's gone for good.

Say hello to barrel-aged cold brews!

We started with two KOVAL whiskey barrels that Knack Brewing and Fermentations in Kankakee used to age an imperial stout. The day after Knack dumped their stout, we added 60 lbs of Guatemala coffee to each barrel, and after two weeks, roasted it to a medium level.

Now, we’re slow steeping that barrel-aged coffee for 24 hours. The result: A zero-proof cold brew coffee with a whiskey aroma; a nutty caramel and cocoa body; and a smooth, stout-like finish.

Maple Vanilla is sweet and creamy β€” made with maple and vanilla syrup, a splash of oat milk and a dash of cinnamon.

Cherry Orange plays on the notes of a traditional Old Fashioned cocktail. Prepared with orange and cherry syrup, and a splash of oat milk.
