We wrapped up processing our 32 meat birds and ended up with 105 pounds of homegrown chicken. Each bird gets a sincere “thank you” before processing as a way of honoring the life it gave. With warmer weather arriving here in Minnesota, it’s one less chore on the farm, and we’re thankful for the healthy, home-raised food they provided for our family. 🐔
