BOARDING: Don't let the weather hold you back. Be ready for spring and summer activities. We have 1 stall open now with a large 24' x 100' paddock, and 1 more coming this spring. Inside stalls are also available. LESSONS: We have possible spots available for lessons with Melissa Neal on Sunday or Monday afternoons with your horse, board or haul in. HAUL INS: $10 or 4 tickets for $30. Located on Bayview Hill between Burlington and Anacortes.

I saw a post earlier today from someone asking how 5 1/2 inches of rainfall could make the river rise so fast, so I did the math. The skagit river watershed is 3,115 square miles which is 86,842,216,000 square feet. 6 inches of rain on 1 square foot is 1/2 cubic foot. Multiply that times the square footage above and you get 43,420,850,767.5 cubic feet. That's 43 billion 420 million, 850 thousand, 767 and a half cubic feet (12" x 12" x 12") plus snow melt. I hope I did that right.
