We need some help! Our incredible upick team has let us know that our flower field is popping like crazy in this heat and we need folks to come pick loads of flowers!!! Harvest Tide CSA members pick for free, open to the public: $15 for all you can stuff into a jar (jar included)! We’re open Wed-Sun. We are totally self-serve and everything you need (water, snips, jars, instructions) is here! Head to 304 Pork Point Road and follow the signs!🪧

We are swinging full speed into summer and starting to enter blur mode. But the crew is amazing, the weather’s been very amenable, and the fields look pretty👌, so I’d say we’re on the right track.

Our amazing farm team prepping/washing/packing for our CSA deliveries this week. In the winter time, everyone pitches in on all the things that need doing while the farm is slower and not much is growing. So the greenhouse team washes spinach, our tractor operators wash and bag sweet potatoes, our delivery drive bags. It’s a real collaborative effort to adjust to all the seasons and swings of farming. And this time of year it’s nice to have all these awesome folks in one place, it’s like the silver lining to another day of single digit temps on the farm :)

The light is changing, and I swear I could hear it in the bird song this morning, we’re pulling out of the darkest winter months. That means this CSA farm is starting to plan for the heat and hustle of summer and Summer Share signups are OPEN. Signing up early helps us: 1) Maintain cash flow when purchasing and staffing are long and sales are short 2) Helps us plan for having the right amount of veggies for the summer, as we’re starting lots of crops in the next month 3) Guarantees your space and lets you sign up for limited add ons before they sell out. 4) Gives you time to get excited, learn the ropes, and get connected before the season is in full swing.

Kicking January off with an ice storm! Our first week of Sunrise shares is on its way out to CSA members this week, and while January isn’t really known for its abundance, we think it looks pretty delicious! Big thanks to our members, staff, and vendors for dealing with the weather like champs!
