🧐🧐🧐 STUDY - RAW MILK CAN BE A LOW-RISK FOOD WHEN FARMERS ARE TRAINED AND FOLLOW HIGH STANDARDS: Test data show that raw milk being intentionally produced for human consumption is fundamentally different from pre-pasteurized milk that is taken from bulk tanks. It was concluded that "raw milk can be produced with a high level of hygiene and safety.” This paper provides further proof that, with farmer training, careful production practices, and ongoing testing, low-risk raw milk is achievable.

To mineral bar or not to mineral bar…for a year I have been contemplating this question. Now I ask myself why didn’t I just do it a year ago??? 🤦🏼‍♀️ in just 30 days this yearlings transformation along w my other doe’s has been nothing short of amazing- my other doe’s the same way. I am grateful to the learning I got at The Holistic Goat and to Sweet Medicine Farm- my minerals are affordable and come quickly from SMF-
I am literally watching my doe’s change in ways I never expected for the good. Even the kids eat from the bar!!!
Highly recommend either of these farms for minerals (I am not paid by either of them).

Bogie left today…Placement of a puppy for a family’s needs is so important. I wish more breeders would take this into account and not rush the process. Yes I’m attached, but their future lives are bigger than me. Their future is more important than the tears that fall when they leave. I know he will be happy with his new family

Tovi Cross left for his new family on Easter Sunday - this is What was said about our first pup to leave for his new home…we are trying to give pups what they need to be successful - everyone wants to know about testing this and that- his parents and grandparents are good*****
From new pups Mama-
“I need to send a long brag about this pup.
Day 1: Cross/Tovi rode in the car the entire way home in the lap of my son. (4 hours all together including breaks) He never whimpered never vomited, or had any type of accident. Got home and he played, on leash, with the kids as we u packed from our camping trip.
Night one: he slept, loose in the floor of our bedroom, woke me up with a whimper to p*e at 3 am. He did his business and came back in and went straight back to sleep.
Day 2: I work one day per week on Monday, so he went with the kids to my parents house and got along with their dog, played, stayed on their porch (with gates closed) and went to see my grandmother. I picked them all up at 3 and enjoyed the rest of the day playing in the fields. Night 2: he slept again but he didnt wake up until early morning to go potty.
Day 3: (today)He stayed in his 10x10 kennel while I went to pick up my father-in-law for his doctor's appointment (he cant drive). We got home and he had been a perfect boy and has spent the day playing his heart out with my kids and my father-in-law's dog. He comes when called, sits, shakes, knows "out" very well, and no. He already knows his new name, and is literally the smartest puppy that ive owned since my last english shepherd(which had similar lineage). I believe this brain is very much a genetic thing because of this.

We were prepared to clean up terrible p**p messes, listen to him cry all night and half the way home, and to need to keep him outdoors in the kennel for our sanity for a while. I knew you said they were potty trained, and generally smart, knowing some commands, but we are always mentally prepared for the worst with puppies. We never know how they will handle change. All in all 10/10 experience and we are in love!”
