It’s been 368 days since I started writing in this prayer journal and today I’m on the last page. I went today and bought myself a new one. It’s such a sweet daily practice to write out my prayers to God like a daily note thanking Him,asking Him for wisdom favor and provision but mostly asking for healing for my husband who is battling colorectal cancer. Our God is faithful and He will see us through.

I work hard in the summers doing maintenance at school…my main gig is painting when I get home my little homestead backyard sparks my daily joy.

There’s a first time for everything…..and we’ve had great results with growing watermelon! We’ve got 10 growing so far….hope they get to maturity by July 4th how fun would that be!

When you pass the tree line every minute mowing you notice the wild blackberries and you think….what a wonderful world. And yes I ate some.

Well we made it to the farm the grass wasnt too bad…as soon as we got here we mowed until we ran out of gas and the sky was dark either storm clouds….we’ll get after it tomorrow.
