Another great day learning in Romania. How many beekeepers have harvested “royal jelly?” Or how many know the many medicinal aspects of royal jelly? Today Ana Pirisi and her husband, Roberto, harvested over 700 grams of royal jelly. We even used the queen larvae and mixed with honey. Great resource for health.

Had a good day today in Romania. Spent a few hours with Ana Parisi and her husband Roberto. Roberto is an Apicultural scholar and expert here in Romania. They graft over 2500 queen cells a week with a lot of those going to harvesting royal jelly. They raise a hybrid buckfast breed of queens which do well in Romania cold winters and super hot summers. And harvest great tasting acacia honey.

Continue to buy local honey…and stop adulterating honey for sale. Protect your bees, beekeepers, food security and consumers.

Stormy Acres knows the importance of a Queen Bee. Without her, the hive simply could not thrive. And just like the Queen Bee is the heart and center of every hive, we know that mothers are the heart and center of our lives.
