UPDATE: positions are filled
‼️Job Posting:‼️
Tree Service Crew Member
Location: Bowling Green, IN
Pay: $18–$30+/hr – Based on experience, qualifications, work ethic, and skill.
(After 90 days you begin earning PTO)
Start date:August 20th
The Role:
We are a busy, local tree service looking for a reliable crew member to join our tight-knit team. We need a capable operator who can jump into a machine or pick up a saw and get to work without constant supervision. We need someone who doesn't just wait for orders, but is always looking for the next thing they need to be doing.
If you aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and you know how to move fast and safely, you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting with tree removals and trimming.
• Operating chainsaws, chippers, and heavy equipment.
• Groundwork: Dragging brush, loading logs, and ensuring the job site is spotless.
• Heavy lifting
• Any other tasks that may be needed.
What We’re Looking For:
• Reliability: Since we’re a small crew, if one person doesn't show, the whole day stalls. We need someone we can count on.
• Physical Stamina: You can handle long days on your feet in the heat/cold.
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and a way to get to work.
• Safety First: You listen to directions and keep your head on a swivel.
• A "Can-Do" Attitude: We work hard, but we have a good time doing it.
• Flexibility: You understand that if it’s downpouring or too wet, we aren't working, but if it’s 80° and sunny, we’re going hard.
•Foundational Experience: You don’t need to be a pro, but you must know how to properly run a chainsaw and operate heavy equipment.
•Quick Learner: You take direction well and catch on fast. We will train you on our specific techniques, but you need to know the basics of safety and equipment from day one.
•Self-Starter: You see what needs to be done next—whether it's clearing the drop zone or prepping a machine—and you do it.
•Willingness to do emergency tree removals with very short notice (when necessary).
Bonus Points:
• Experience with chainsaws and rope work/ rigging
• Mechanical knowledge (fixing a saw on the fly is a huge plus).
*The Schedule (Weather Permitting):
Our schedule follows the weather. This is a flexible position that scales with the season:
-Peak Season: Full-time hours (40+ per week) during clear weather.
-Off-Peak/Rainy Days: Hours may scale back to part-time (10–20 per week).
-Bottom Line: When the weather is good, we grind.
How to Apply:
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please message us with your name, phone number, and a brief description of your work experience and the equipment you have experience with.
