Iron Willow Farm

Iron Willow Farm We own a very modest 1/2 acre mini farm. We enjoy small country life with our small herd

It pains my heart to make this post, but our family needs and lifestyle will be changing. We have decided to completely sell out of goats and will no longer be breeding or owning goats. Thank you to all who have supported our tiny herd over the years. And major thanks to all of the herds we’ve learned from and the amazing friends we’ve made in this crazy world lol. I love all of you and I’ve so enjoyed showing with and talking with all of you about these goofy animals. All of the animals are set up at wonderful farms and will be leaving in the next 2 weeks. Maybe someday in the future can adventure into it again but for the foreseeable future we will goatless. I can’t wait to hear and see how these 4 girls will do in their new herds and families (especially Ember who is going to my best friends house at Blue Eclipse Nigerian Dwarfs) and I still will be rooting on all of my goat friends when they step into every ring and wish you all the very best!
Love,
Jamie and the Shively family at Iron Willow ❤️❤️

SURPRISE! We officially have our first Toggenburg! I’ve admired this breed for awhile and I was so excited that Travis at Woods' River Farm had this beautiful girl available for us! This little march born baby’s pedigree is STACKED with champions! I really think she’s gonna be the perfect first addition to our Togg herd! She’s the sweetest little lady and I can’t wait to watch her grow!

The surprise new addition I added a couple months ago!!
Ilene’s Rascals I Am Moana
Dam: Winning Streak S Shuri
Sire: Winning Streak K Captainmarvel
Moana is line bred on the stunning GCH Winning Streak CM Marvelous 6*M EEEE92
Moana came to me after she decided to start being a wild child with a friend of mine and didn’t want to be handled. I knew this girl needed to come to our tiny farm and I was right and now she’s my sweet little baby. I cannot wait to see how she matures!

An just like that we are all done kidding for this year 🙂
Winning Streak RM Snow Queen had a flawless birth of buck/doe twins! These kids are sired Blue Eclipse PR Finneus *B
The doe is RETAINED and the buck (polled) will be available pending CM test results in a few weeks 🙂 he will only be available as a herd sire if he tests N/N.
So happy she had a doe for me! It’s been a long time coming! I absolutely adore her daughters owned by our good friends Blue Eclipse Nigerian Dwarfs so hopefully this little girl follows in their hoofsteps 🙂

After what felt like forever Cheyenne Acres MW Noverbberain (ember) finally had her babies. These kids are sired by Blue Eclipse PR Finneus *B. She had buck/doe twins. Who both tried to come out at the exact same time. Little boy was first and was perfect presentation than after a good while of her pushing with not any progress I went in to check where I found a back hoof coming out next to the boys bubble! So I grabbed the leg facing the right way and hoped like hell it was the right kid, lucky for me it was. The boy came out and the little doe followed immediately after with both back feet sticking right out after he left the canal 🤦🏼‍♀️ little stinkers made their poor momma so tired. Momma is being wonderful with her babies so we will likely try dam raising this year as I just don’t have the heart anymore to take babies away. The buck will be available as a stunning herdsire and the doe is retained. The buck I believe is polled but I’ll know better tomorrow 🙂 doe is the mostly white one
