๐ French Onion Chicken & Rice ๐ง๐

Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or sliced
1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
2 cups chicken broth
1 can (10.5 oz) French onion soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup crispy fried onions (for topping)
Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a baking dish.
2. In a bowl, mix uncooked rice, chicken broth, and French onion soup.
3. Stir in sour cream, garlic powder, black pepper, and butter.
4. Fold in cooked chicken.
5. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
7. Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly over the top.
8. Add crispy fried onions on top.
9. Bake uncovered for 10 more minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
10. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Pro Tip:
For extra French onion flavor, sautรฉ sliced onions in butter until caramelized and mix them into the rice before baking ๐คค
