We've been busy collecting data for Jadyn Sanchez's master's thesis this week. We have measured cows to help validate the Holstein Association's Build a Better Cow system, designed to evaluate linear conformation traits with computer vision. Thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Bewley, Dr. Luiz Silva, Dr. Phillip Gunter, Jenna Guinn, Brian Long, and Brooke Bond for their help!

🌟 High-Classifying Cow Spotlight! 🌟

Congratulations to WKU Expander 1056, who recently classified Excellent-90 (EX-90)! 🏆

Now in her 5th lactation, 1056 has achieved a peak production of 127 pounds of milk per day and a lifetime milk production of 118,010 pounds of milk. Even more special, she is one of the original members of the WKU dairy herd, making her accomplishment a testament to both longevity and performance.

Way to go, 1056! 🐄🥛
