With the loss of Reece recently I was hoping not to make another post like this for a LONG while but the goal for retirement boarding is giving these deserving animals great last days. Half Cent and her companion, Buzz, came to us last Sept. It had just been the two of them for many years but they adjusted well and spent every day enjoying life as a herd. She was such a good little mare and she will be deeply missed by her mom, her best friend and all of our family at Double C. ❤️

The herd doesn’t care that it’s Sunday morning, when a wild cherry tree is down it has to be moved. At least we still made it to Sunday school.
Scott did all the work. I guess that’s why he calls me “gate girl” 🤣😂
