South Lakeland - Wawa on Fla Ave & Fitzgerald - 5pm, I will wait until 5:15pm if need be - I will text you individually and let you know where I am parked and my vehicle description.

Our veggie & herb starter plants are rolling out of the trays and into 4" pots today and tomorrow. 🙌🏻

What does that mean?

TWO WEEKS maximum and they will be ready to sale! Homestead, San Marzano, and Chefs Choice Red tomatoes... Poblano, jalapeño, Golden Cal Wonder, Emerald Giant and Cubanelle peppers... All the basil's - cinnamon, lemon, and Genovese... And Rio Grande Verde Tomatillos... Will be ready first!

Then comes the winter veggies!! Mid October we will have broccoli, cauliflower, all thegreens, swiss chard, dino kale, and a ton of herbs!

FLOWERS - Looking for marigolds? Zinnias? Celosia? Mexican petunias? We've got you covered! Check out the self serve stand for those and a ton of ornamental that are going out later today!

For everyone asking what comes in the produce bundles, here's a few pictures from this last springs bundles! It will rotate as to what is in season! That's the best part - you never know what you're going to get, and sometimes you'll find out you have a new favorite vegetable!

Sign ups for our bi-weekly $25 Mystery Produce bundles is live! Delivery is this Friday (Saturday for Winter Haven) and we would love to add you to the route!

Wondering what's in the bundles? Each one will include 5 to 7 items of farm fresh produce, and it will rotate as the seasons progress. What we don't grow, we source locally first with our fellow small farmers in & around our county. Then, we source throughout the state, supporting even more small farms. Last, we will use trusted sources to obtain USA grown produce, usually certified organic if we go that route.

You will never find us using restricted chemicals on our produce we grow. We believe in many other methods that are practical for small family farms like ours.

Things to remember:
• Must be signed up via the Google Forms doc. Link can be found in the shared post and in the comments below.
• Payments are due the Wednesday prior to Friday's delivery by 8pm. We accept CashApp, Venmo and Square (for credit / debit cards). If you've already signed up, those payment details will go out tomorrow.

North Lakeland! Who is interested in a drop spot for our $25 mystery produce bundles?!?!

At The Stand has volunteered to host a drop spot for you guys! This is a wonderful, beautiful small family with like minded ideas when it comes to fresh, sustainable, and locally sourced products. We are honored and excited to work with them to bring our fresh produce to north Lakleland. Their address is 11223 Keen Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810.

Also, we can't to shop at their refill station at their stand! If you've never used that dish soap - I highly recommend it!

Details on the $25 Mystery Produce Bundles- bi weekly bundles will include 5 to 6 items of farm fresh or locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Things like squash, zucchini, corn, tomatoes potatoes, lettuces, and allll the green veggies, to things like citrus fruit, apples, pears, plums, peaches, figs, Grapes, bananas, and tropical fruits can be included. It will rotate week to week.

**Edited to add: NORTH LAKELAND - WE HAVE ADDED A DROP SPOT FOR YOU!! At The Stand located at 11223 Keen Rd, Lakeland FL 33810 has offered to host a drop spot on Fridays from 3pm till 8pm.**

We plan on starting our $25 produce bundles back this Friday! Pickup on Friday afternoon / all day Saturday is free. Local (inside Hardee County / South Ft Meade) is free. Outside of that area is $5 per bundle / stop.

Winter Haven - same drop spot with Sunshine Farms on Saturday mornings!

South Laklend - the Wawa on the corner of Florida Ave and Fitzgerlad Rd - Friday afternoons around 5pm is your local drop spot / time.

We will consider making a route to another area if we have enough interest. As in, at least 4 boxes and it's within 30 miles of our farm.

The self serve stand is getting a deep cleaning and re-set today. Make sure to stop by starting tomorrow (8/26) for all of your favorite off season necessities: jams & jellies, beeswax food preserver wraps, ornamental plants, and a few early herbs!

We’ve been working on something fun for fall, and we can finally share it! 🌱🍕🥕

On October 18th, three local small businesses are coming together at Double K Farm for a day built around something we all love — growing good food, supporting local farms, and eating REALLY good food.

🌱 Center Hill Farm & Nursery — GROW
We'll be bringing a big selection of fall vegetable & herb starter plants, pollinator plants, fruit trees and more. If you've been waiting to get that fall garden planted, THIS is the day to do it. We'll have plants that are actually suited for growing here in Florida — and you can pick our brains while you're there.

🥕 Double K Farm LLC — GATHER
Katie will have fresh, locally grown veggies, microgreens, sourdough and more straight from the farm.

🍕 The Sketchy Pelican — EAT
And because shopping for plants and vegetables obviously requires pizza... The Sketchy Pelican will be firing up farm-inspired artisan pizzas, plus dips and salads.

Basically, come hungry and leave with a full belly, a box of fresh produce, and probably way more plants than you intended to buy. 🤷🏼‍♀️
