We returned from the AOA NATIONAL SHOW in Ft Wayne in the strong winds made the trip a true adventure, calmed to gusty but manageable once in Ky. The weekend show was wonderful both 4-H ers got a first place and so did Alive N’Fuzzy extremely proud of Auslyn and Chia with reserve champion youth male alpaca and second out of 9 in showmanship Got to connect with new and old friends

The thermometer's reminder that winter persists made this weekend an excellent time to reconnect with Facebook friends. All our farm critters are faring well, and we're preparing for a hectic spring, featuring the National Alpaca Show in March, the Kentucky Spring Fling on April 11th, and shearing day on April 19th. The winter of 2026 has been challenging at ALIVE N’ FUZZY the snow started and was pretty 3-5 inches the thin coating of ice we had picture perfect but the weather was just starting never lost power single digits at night at low 20s for a wk made us very thankful for a warm barn plenty of hay and feed; water in barn so critters were taken care of 20 alpacas and Darlene (36yr) mule.the chickens had heated water and plenty food.always gave a few eggs ; geese servied
The melt and rain turned the barn lot into an ice skating rink blessed with clasized sand in barn to make a path got to love farming in winter. 60’s next week😃

We did alright on the awards the great award was to see the alpac show grow new exhibitors is something we have worked for

Alive N' Fuzzy Alpacas attended the Buckeye Fall Show in Tallmage, Ohio, and achieved impressive results. ANF 25 Chia and ANF 25 Powder earned 1st place in halter, while ANF 23 Butterfly secured 2nd place. We appreciated the opportunity to visit with numerous breeders from various states. This year, we shared the experience with fellow Kentucky breeder Plum Creek Ranch, which made the KAA proud.

Alive N’ Fuzzy alpacas wants to give a great big thank you to the Logan County fair for hosting a youth fun show this afternoon. The 4-H ers had a great time. They Warren County Alpaca Angels 4-H club had a great time and learned a lot. The club looks forward to next year and another show.
