Drastic Measures

If you’re looking for a horse that can truly do it all, this is him. Standing 17 hands tall and 10 years old, this handsome Thoroughbred is the kind of horse that doesn’t come around often. He has the athletic ability to excel while having the kind, willing personality that makes him a joy to be around every day.

He has been trail-ridden extensively and is confident wherever you point him. From quiet trail rides to rough terrain, he takes everything in stride. He has experience jumping both inside and outside of the arena, has completed cross-country schooling, and has participated in two fox hunts, handling every experience with confidence and a level head.

One of his best qualities is his trustworthiness with children. Kids of all ages have ridden him, from confident young riders to those still learning. He is patient and forgiving, and he takes great care of his rider, making him the type of horse parents feel comfortable putting their children on. He adjusts to his rider and has a disposition that helps build confidence while still being fun enough for experienced riders to enjoy.

He rides equally well in both an English and Western saddle. He’s happy in the arena, out on the trails, or trying something new. He knows what the barrel pattern is if you want to take him further in that direction as well. He has also been started in liberty work and enjoys working with his person.
Nothing seems to bother him. Dogs running around, loud noises, or even guns being fired nearby don’t faze him. He is calm, sensible, and exceptionally minded, making him a dependable partner whether you’re riding alone or with a group.

This is a truly well-rounded horse with a solid foundation, a great attitude, and experience that is hard to find all in one package. He has the talent to go in many directions and the gentle nature that the whole family can enjoy. He is genuinely a one-of-a-kind horse, and someone is going to be very lucky to call him their own.
