I want to thank you all for your beautiful words and shared memories of the garden. I am truly touched.
This morning, I was able to tidy up the Flower Cottage and restock a bit. I couldn't resist taking a few flower photos, too.
💐 September is typically the last month for you-pick. Feel free to come out this month and enjoy the Fall garden. 🌹❤️

Garden Update:

Dear friends,

As August comes to an end, and Fall quickly approaches, the garden reflects the changing of the seasons. Flowers are still blooming in our meadow, but by the end of September, the flowers will have faded, and the you-pick season will end.

🌹Looking forward, I've had to do some soul searching. Health issues plagued me this summer and made working in the garden difficult, especially with the brutal heat. Thankfully, I'm feeling much better now, but it's made me reflect on the future.

🌹As much as I love the garden and the joy it has brought so many of you, I've had to be realistic. When the economy suffers, flowers become a luxury and not a necessity. I totally understand that. We have to feed, clothe, and house our families first!

💵 And let's face the reality folks, increased tariffs, higher fuel costs, and increased shipping fees have directly impacted small businesses, including Briar Rose Garden.

🌹The garden has been a labor of love, but now it's time to rest for awhile. September 30th, the garden will close to the public.

🔮I'm not sure what the future holds, but I want to thank all of you who supported the garden and trusted me with your weddings, school bouquets, proms, and celebrations.
Thank you for letting me share a place where you could stroll amongst the flowers and enjoy the beauty Mother Nature has blessed us with.

It's been awhile since I've shared photos or an update from the garden. Life has a way of distracting us. 🌹

🚜Today was mowing day. Eight and a half acres mowed with help of my wonderful sister, Joann. ❤️

🌹This week, I restocked pitchers, water, and clippers in the Flower Cottage. The you-pick is open all season Dawn-Dusk 7 days a week.

If you need beautiful wild flower bouquets, the garden awaits. And be prepared for more butterflies, birds, rabbits, and honey bees than ever. It's amazing this month. 🦋🐦💐

Good Tuesday morning! I got out early this morning to do a couple of chores in the garden and share some photos of just some of the flowers that are blooming now.

Because of this week's extreme heat, please be advised to come early morning or early evening to you-pick flowers and/or blackberries. They are all beautiful right now!
