We got a sweet dun (grey/grulla maybe) filly out of Greyt Maudie Chex and by Busy Save N Cash. Greyt has Topsail Whiz, Easter Gentleman, and Tuf N Busy on her papers. Busy Save N Cash is one of the last sons by Tuf N Busy and goes back to Lil Peppy Three on the bottom. We purchased Greyt from Rick Schroeder Quarter Horses in Iowa last winter.

We have hit a lull in both calving and foaling. Enjoy these happy calves living their best life on a nice, spring day!

We didn’t get the rain we were hoping for Sunday and Monday. Just misted most of yesterday but at least it washed off the dirt. Chances of rain Thursday and Friday. We are much better off than others. Praying for all to get the moisture that’s needed for hay, pasture, and crops!

This is a first time cross between LJSR Dusty Shine and LJSR Re*****on Roan. Dusty is getting up there in age so I wanted to try a a different cross to see what we could get. I’d say it was an OK decision. Red roan filly.
