Redwind Stables & Hatchery kept sharing her sourdough loaves and it motivated me to break out Bread Mosby (my starter)… who won’t wake up so I had to buy some or else the motivation would be gone.

Last night was grilled cheese made with basil pesto mozzarella loaf! I also made two s’mores loaves as a test. One with regular start and the other with a sweet starter. I also have a pepper jack cranberry loaf in the oven!

Spam me with your fave sourdough recipes 😍 discard, sweet breads, or anything that’s too good to not try!

My last two hatches were rough due to my son unplugging the incubators so I was fully ready to just turn off the incubators until my pre ordered and prize eggs were being shipped…

But then I saw Q's Quirky Cluckers was having a mystery dozen sale and I had to jump on it! She has some fun project pens but also really unique birds. The weather will be right. So incubators are not shut off and I have more eggs on the way 😅 plus a plan to get hedemoras for my birthday. Maybe by Thanksgiving I’ll truly take a hatching break.

Excuse me while I’m outside bugging my husband about the coops we really need built 😅

100% recommend her. Not only did I have a 100% hatch rate, she has helped with any questions I’ve had about setting up breeder coops and narrowing down which is a cockerel vs pullet for these guys. And of course she makes the cutest stickers and made the boys their school labels too!
