Iron Mountain Blue gave us our first set of quads on 3/12. It was an easy, textbook delivery. (So much easier than her giant singleton last year.) 🩷🩷🩷💙

Unfortunately, half of Blue’s udder was still compromised from her serious bout of mastitis last fall and it recurred when her milk came in. While we usually prefer to dam raise, we pulled the kids and began Blue’s treatment. Runa kidded soon after and she adopted one of the little girls. The other three are being bottle raised.

Blue is now retired, so we’ll be retaining one of these does (TBD), but the other two will be available as well as a lovely and affectionate wether. Serious inquiries should pm.
