🐴 FALL IS IN THE AIR AT HAY RIVER RIDING! 🐴
The leaves are changing, the air is getting crisp, and our four-legged friends are getting ready for a new season!

Did you know horses start growing their winter coats in response to shorter daylight hours? Even when we’re still enjoying warm fall afternoons, their bodies are already preparing for winter!

Fall is also a great time to:
🍂 Enjoy a beautiful trail ride.
🍎 Treat your horse to a few apple slices (in moderation!).
🪮 Spend some extra time grooming.
💧 Make sure fresh water is always available.
❤️ Slow down and enjoy some quality barn time.

We're kicking off some fun fall horse facts, helpful tips, and a little horse knowledge right here at Hay River Riding!

Let's hear from our horse lovers! 👇
What's YOUR favorite thing about spending time with horses in the fall?
