Cabin Hill Dairy Fleckvieh Amazing Cattle...crossbreeding at it's finest. The fleckvieh breed from Bavaria has added a new zest and profitability to our dairy.

We're always willing to share our story! We are a family farm in the hills of western Wisconsin. We were introduced to an amazing cattle breed from Bavaria, Germany and have been crossbreeding them with our holsteins since 2005. Over the years we have purchased several purebreds that originated as embryos from Germany and were raised in Canada by Big Bear Genetics. From our own crosses and the ful

l blood embryo stock we now market jumper bulls to farms in several states. We are excited about Fleckvieh and love to share our story. You can also find us on Instagram .

Sara left us today. She is the last of the original full blood Fleckvieh heifers we bought 11 years ago. She was one month shy of 12 years old and had a lifetime production of over 184,000 pounds of ,over 8000 pounds fat and 6500 pounds protein. At the beginning of this lactation we decided she had paid her dues and that it would be her last. Definitely one of our favorites and sad to see her go, but she leaves behind several daughters still in the herd. We have a number of her grand sons in our bull line-up as well. Give us a call!
