Blackwood Farm We are a small breeder of registered Painted Desert Sheep and poultry. We are located NW of Ft Worth Most of the sheep carry the ticking gene as well.

We specialize in a beautiful selection of young Painted rams and ewes. Breeding for trophy sized horns, multiple births, vigor, and loud colors and patterns.

We are proud to introduce the newest addition to the farm. Beth, guardian, Karakachan and Great Pyrenees from the KJH Doroer Sheep in Azle. Jo has some amazing guardians for sale from 2 litters. Hurry and get you 1 or 2. She has already shown so much desire to be a good guard at only 13 weeks old.

Farming is not always, baby lambs, beautiful flowers and rainbows. Sometimes its hard, real hard. My old boy Raider is 14 and has been one of the guardian pillars around here for a long time. But today it has become very obvious he's heading for rainbow bridge. His best friend (Shiner, my gelding) is standing at his side to keep him company to the end. Prayers for him to be comfortable, at peace and without pain.

We had 5 new lambs born yesterday, with 4 being ewes and 1 a ram lamb, which brings our total to 15.
