Thanks to .mfg for the opportunity to demo this 5500bu Hive Mother bin for soybean harvest. I gotta say, I had some doubts at first about how well it would fit into our operation after seeing the size of it. Once we got it in the field, it didn't take long to see the benefits of having it around. From being able to keep the two combines moving by having the extra storage and freeing up trucks and people, we could finish fields and run later after the local elevator closed. Overall, the Hive helped shave off four days of soybean harvest with only four people for the majority of the day and averaged roughly 350ac harvested a day.
If your operation has issues with waiting on trucks or short on bodies to keep things moving smoothly, I'd strongly consider calling Elmer's Manufacturing. They're great people to work with and great quality products. Shoutout to Matt Hubert and people behind the scenes for lining everything up.
