What a wonderful day yesterday attending the MDGA Bucks n Babes show! Some dauntingly large classes, I’m so thrilled with how my crew did in some tough competition. Apollo made his way to the champion line up in all three rings, and my home bred yearling received some very complimentary feedback that I was thrilled to hear.

Jaybelle and Yeti have produced ELEVEN elite progeny in total. Jaybelle has a proven track record of out producing herself, being the DAM to 5 time ELITE doe SG Better Wayz Isabelle EEEE92.

My dear Kindred Souls BF Ivanka blessed me with twin doelings this weekend. After a streak of ONLY buck kids born this year, I am more than thrilled with these two little girls!

“Evie” freshened with a gorgeous socked on FF udder, and milked out 5 cups of golden colostrum while still leaving some for her kiddos. These are my first Old Mountain Farm Radagast VVE88 kids, and boy are they sharp!

Her *maternal sister* is CH Kindred Souls AT Emma Claire 4*M VVEE90. This doe has a proven stacked pedigree behind her and I am beyond excited to see her FF udder!

Sire to these kids is Old Mountain Farm Radagast VVE88, *son* of Old Mountain Farm Stag Knight *B making him the *paternal grandson* of SG Old Mountain Farm Stag ++*B VEE88. Rad has several daughters that have appraised exceptionally as first fresheners; Mountain Momma R Gemstone VVVG85 and Mountain Momma R Dahlia GGVG84, as well as a Mountain Momma R Ulta who earned a GCH leg as an FF milker.

She has a very strong pedigree behind her being the daughter of Proctor Hill Farm Atlantis *B, making her a paternal sister to CH Kindred Souls AT Emma Claire 1*M VVEE90. We were fortunate enough to add Ettiana to the herd this fall, and look forward to proving her out in 2025 through LA and milk test while also getting her into the show ring.

Sire to these kids is Russian Ridge Orpheus, son of 3x Reserve Grand Champion Russian Ridge Ariadne VEEE91, and grandson of *2016 Reserve National Champion Junior Doe* GCH Dragonfly SOL Fantasia 2*M EEEE92. Orpheus’s littermate brother, Russian Ridge Perseus was appraised at VVV85 as a yearling buck.

It’s finally that time of year!! Kidding season starts here in just 63 days. Up first is a special pairing of my favorite juniors.

Udderly Darling Twisted Love ‘Lilah’ was born here on my farm to my strongest doe. Her dam exhibits a beautiful dairy structure, she is my favorite to milk here as she has a buttery soft udder texture with plumb teats and open orifices. Her udder is socked on and capacious. On her sires side she is the granddaughter of Kyeema Ridge Hurricane +*B VEE90 as well as Buttin’heads 21 Gun Salute +B through her dam.

Silver Maple JQ Quintessential ‘Quinn’ is a junior buck I am very excited about, son of Old Mountain Farm John Q Public VEE90 and Silver Maple Leo Noel VEEE90 this buckling is very correct with exceptional flatness of bone. He has many proven paternal siblings, with a sister appraising at VVEE90 and a brother with his +B.

There is so much data behind this pairing with high appraisers, finished champions, elite does and +B bucks. Kids have the chance of all the fun extras! They will potentially be polled, with moonspots and blue eyes possible as well. I will have open doe reservations on this pairing.
