Soaring High Christian Homeschool Group brought 33 students and parents to visit The Woodlands last Friday for a kombucha brewery and farm tour. The group was so exciting with the diversity of students and parents who came out to learn about fermentation, organic farming, kombucha and forestry.

Chris Anderson from MAEAP conducted the farm tour which explored the unique ecosystems on our 80 acre farm which included a multi generational beaver meadow, pine forest, aspen forest, hardwood forest, maple forest, wetlands and fields. It was our largest group to date filled with young inquisitive minds eager to learn about the beauty of the area and its many natural and sustainable uses.

This group was so special as they learn through family and community and it was beautiful for us to learn their wonderful perspective on northern Michigan.

Thank you Sarah for making this special trip possible for your group and our farm.
