Have you ever seen a transfer station for fairies? Neither had we! 🧚✨

Little did we know that fairies need to recycle their pinecones, fairy dust, buttons, crystals, and compost, of course! 💎🧚‍♀️Thank you to Creative Reuse Montana, Eubank Creative, and more, for creating the most enchanting destination for our compost to go!
We’re delighted to see that fairies enjoy a happy compost pile just as much as we do. 🌸

Just another day in the life of compost….until someone says, “We’ve got 3,000 pounds of caramel” (👀 ➡️)

Every now and then, local companies end up with products that can’t be sold due to things like shipping issues, packaging defects, etc., not because they did anything wrong!

Instead of sending it to the landfill, barrels of 1,500 lbs spoiled cream and 1,500 lbs of salted caramel sauce are getting a second life through composting.

Our job? We depackaged it from the barrels, and added the good stuff to our heaps with the skid steer.

Not our average pickup, but definitely the sweetest to date!

The time is here—THIS WEDNESDAY is the first market of the season! 🎉

We are celebrating the season kick-off from 4:30-7:30 pm at Miles Park Band Shell (next to the Livingston Civic Center). We’ve got a full lineup of amazing vendors and everything you need to start your summer right. Come shop for fresh, local produce, meats, baked goods, flowers, and unique handmade items. Plus, enjoy live music, delicious food trucks, craft beer, and so much more! 🍓🍞🌸🎶

Patrick B Ray, whose soulful country and folk songwriting draws from the Texas troubadour tradition—think h***y tonk and Western swing with a West Texas heart—will be bringing the market to life with live tunes! A huge thank you to Fairfield by Marriott Livingston Yellowstone and Home2 Suites by Hilton for being our exclusive music sponsors again this season. 🎵

Grow like the Pro’s! Part two in our series we are thrilled to highlight !

We’ve been working Anne for the last 2 seasons to provide her floral and veggie operations with compost for field fertility. This year, Anne started using our compost as part of a potting mix (floret potting soil recipe, linked in bio) to start her seeds in.

We highlighted how she uses our finished compost for plant starts because it’s great to start your garden from seed!
We love seeing how Gallatin Valley growers are using our finished compost and was especially excited to hear about this process. Anne is purchasing her additional amendments from In Belgrade!
