With tomorrow’s forecast calling for cool, damp, umbrella-holding, pita-soggifying weather across Connecticut, Greekin’ Out will unfortunately NOT be at Backus Hospital tomorrow.

We’ll miss you this week, but we’ll be BACK at Backus Hospital on June 2 — so mark your calendars now! 🇬🇷🚚

Basically… Greekin’ Out vibes, just with walls now! 🇬🇷

We built this place around how we actually love to eat—simple, casual, and really good food.

From our food truck to our very first storefront… 💙 This means everything to us.

East Haddam, we’re coming for you!

🚨New East Haddam Scoop!🚨

🎉A new Greek Street Food eatery is coming to East Haddam!

🇬🇷 Thena Pita Bar is coming soon to 25 Falls Road in the Moodus section of East Haddam. The eatery will be located in the former Pizzeria da Vinci space near HomeTown Market at The Old Lumberyard.

🥙The new restaurant will be owned by Niko Papathanasiou and Sarah Turker; the couple has owned the Greekin' Out food truck since 2015. Niko is 100% Greek, with roots in the Epirus region.

🥙Thena Pita Bar will serve authentic Greek street food including gyros, souvlaki, baklava, and much more! Get ready for a small taste of Greece right in Moodus.

🎉The new restaurant is planned to open in late spring! Make sure to follow their social media for more updates on their opening!

Today we’re feeling extra grateful — and not just because we know some of you love our tzatziki enough to practically carry it around like emotional support sauce. (No judgment. Honestly, same!)

But really, your support, kindness, and constant encouragement mean everything to us. Year after year, you show up with so much love, and you’ve helped make Greekin’ Out more than a food truck — you’ve made it a community we’re proud to be part of.
