On our farm we wrapped up corn before this last rain came through and we have 12 bags of AP 100-20RR silage corn left in the shed

Easten and I got our plot planted today!

7 AP Select hybrids 2 Mustang and 1 LG with some RR sweet corn at the end

Planted at 24,000 pop on 30” rows
Previous crop was soybeans
4 rows per hybrids at a length of nearly 3/4 mile
5 gallons of starter and 300 # of urea

There’s plenty of factors that go into your cows rebreeding but have you ever thought about what their supplement if your giving them any plays a part in it -

We started making sure our cows/cattle are supplemented all year long with Crystalyx Brand Supplements on our farm a few years back

This is what we use on our farm —

bgf30 in the fall, say from when they come home from summer grass through the winter

Blue print all in one w/ bio mos 30 days prior to and through calving

Mineralyx with clarifly, call it mid May up until they come home from summer grass

Where am I going with this - on our farm we are 10 days past our calving due date and we hit 50% calved out, yes the 1st calf hit 10 days early and that’s expected but I’m convinced having a good supplement in front of them is giving us healthier cows that breed back better and faster along with healthier calves
