Protect Your Backflow Prevention Assembly from Freezing!

Freezing temperatures may be on the way, and exposed plumbing needs protection! A frozen or damaged backflow preventer can disrupt water service and lead to costly repairs.

What You Need to Know:

Insulate all exposed plumbing and your backflow preventer with foam, pool noodles, or blankets—similar to how you’d protect plants from frost.

Avoid using plastic bags or materials that trap moisture.

Protecting and repairing your backflow device is the responsibility of the customer.
Stay proactive to keep your water system safe!
