Their story:
Ciao Bella began as a trendy cafe’ and coffee shop, rooted in a love for clean and nourishing food.

After they lost their family Italian restaurant “Le Colonne” in St. Armands, with the impact of the last two hurricanes, they didn’t give up!

They expanded the menu at Ciao Bella-Organic Farmer's Table including traditional Italian dishes made from scratch using fresh, high quality ingredients, prioritizing sustainability and local sourcing.

From hand-rolled fettuccine to rich, rustic sauces, every bite is breathtaking and I’m not kidding! 😆

Pair their dishes with the finest Italian wines! My friend Nabetsi Travels had wine and i was low key jealous 😆 Such a fun girls night!!!!!

This farm tour was a must! 10/10! Make sure to book it in advance on their website before you go!

Monday–Friday 9AM–5PM
Saturday 9AM–4PM
Sunday Closed

If you’re looking for a fun family activity near Sarasota or Lakewood Ranch, this was SUCH a cute experience with my 2 year old and 11 year old! We spent the day at Dakin Dairy Farms learning where milk comes from, feeding animals, exploring the farm, and tasting fresh dairy products straight from one of the last remaining dairy farms in Florida.

Dakin is actually one of only 45 dairy farms left in the entire state, which made this experience feel even more special.

The farm tour is $15 per person and includes a behind the scenes look at the dairy farm, milking process, bottling, and more. If you just want a simple outing for the kids, you can also pay $5 per group to feed the animals and enjoy the park area.

They also have a farm market with fresh milk, chocolate milk, ice cream, snacks, and food available onsite 🥛I want to go back and try the sandwiches!

Definitely one of the most unique family-friendly things to do in the Sarasota/Myakka area. My kids loved it and honestly… so did I.

Best Cajun Seafood Boil = …look no further!!!! This is it! From the fantastic drinks to the incredible food and even better service they have it covered! Family friendly and a great place for a day date! Tag me in your stories if you get the seafood boil!

Tiramisu SUNDAE!!!!!! Blue Pineapple ice cream has a tiramisu sundae and i HAD to try it!!!!

Story time- i came to try this sundae last year and now the owner is going through some major health changes.

She is an amazing person so let’s all help her out! I know it will make her so happy if her business gets a boom of business, so let’s all go and support her small biz by getting ice cream there!

Hidden Gem Alert! 🚨 The best one I’ve been to yet!

From the candied bacon old fashioned to the toasted coconut key lime martini, the dreamiest Thai peanut pasta, and a dessert tower that was huge and delicious… every single thing was NEXT LEVEL.

This is a locally owned and ran restaurant and chef Dean is absolutely incredible! I had the opportunity to meet him and talk to him, and he shared with me that he used to work in fine dining, and decided to open up his own restaurant and makes sauces, entrees, dressings, dessert, etc homemade!
