I remember my acute disappointment 25 years ago as a teenager not being able to enjoy the milk from my dairy goat. Now I realize that it was most likely the short grass that resilient goat was eating every night. Hay and oats make for great tasting goat milk. :)

Goat milk is consumed by more people than any other animal milk globally. Goat milk has smaller fat globules, shorter amino acid chains, less lactose and is more alkaline than cow’s milk; making it easier to digest and more tolerated by digestive distress sufferers.

This dry yearling doe is up for consideration. Location: Bradford PA.
Kupcake is a friendly yearling who lives in my small herd. Her mother (RAINTREE BLAZES' KAT) milked over 2400 lbs in her first lactation. She leads well. I think she would make a good first dry yearling for showing.

This is the sort of doe that looks to have an easily hand milked udder. I wish more goats had this sort of udder structure!
