Doll’s Pasture and Petals Welcome to Doll’s Pasture and Petals where we specialize in Registered Fullblood Dorper Sheep and seasonal cut flowers.

We are in northeast Arkansas, a little town called Bradford! Please follow our page to follow our journey as first generation farmers!

It’s really amazing to see these huge steps towards our dreams come into play. It may be just some fencing panels to you, but this is huge for us! This is expansion. This is more than just our few Ewes, this is an open door to a future with Rams, lambs, showing and more!! It’s hard to say we are first generation farmers..because our ancestors long ago had it in them. We were not raised on a farm or around livestock, none of this is familiar for us but we had an idea, and we are working out the details to make our dreams come true! 😁 I hope you stick along for our sheep journey! 💕 Thank you Rachel and Kirk at Hilltop Acres Farm for all your help!

This weekend we ran the girls through our working system and it made all the things so much easier. Our smallest girl..we had to just plop her up on her buns but she is all good! All their hooves are looking great, we got their hair sheered back with our new clippers…you can see the one that escaped the halter..she is looking homeless, half shaved. 🤣😅 Had to get them all looking good for our ram, Brick who we will get here soon! 😁

We move our sheep every 3-4 days to greener pasture. We use premier 1 fencing which has been amazing! Keeps our girls in and predators out…but the biggest perk is that it’s EASY to move. No I’m not getting paid to say such things!😁 Just want yall to know!

Say hello to Millie, she is a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian. She is going to have ONE job, to guard our sheep. Right now she has supervised visitation with her new family because they bully her…but that’s part of being a fluffy potato. Good to know that our sheep will defend themselves from a 5 lbs fur ball that has no intentions to attack. Millie has the best calm attitude and is going to make a great livestock guardian dog. We are going to kennel her in the shade shelter so she can be safe from the sheep but still get bonded with the girls. We did not have the sheep when tater was a puppy unfortunately, so he just guards the whole area. We did have another Great Pyrenees, we called him Tot. He went through the electric fence and refuses to come back this way. We see him at the house on the corner but he will not come this way. 😬

We have been so busy lately that flowers have been on the back burner. Getting a bunch together for a big farmers market...
