Newmont Farm. LLC. Newmont Farm is a dairy farm that also grows and wholesales pumpkins. We are located in the Connecticut River Valley of Vermont.

Newmont Farm was founded in 1987 by Walt and Margaret Gladstone. The farm is currently owned by Walt and Margaret Gladstone and their oldest son Will and youngest son Matt. Currently the farm employs twenty three full time people along with seasonal pumpkin pickers. At our Fairlee, VT farm we care for our 1550 Holstein cows and 1250 heifers. We grow about 900 acres of corn, 800 acres of grass, and 200 acres of pumpkins.

Tiny sprouts now, but with some sunshine, rain, and a little luck, they'll be turning into fall jack-o'-lanterns before we know it. 🎃

We’re lucky to have a team that’s always willing to invest in getting better for our animals, our farm, and each other. Our crew took a field trip to learn from fellow farmers, share ideas, and bring back knowledge we can put into practice every day.

Planning out the coming week is making us reflect on the past couple weeks and celebrating this fabulous team! Every Monday is herd check day at Newmont!

Three brilliant female veterinarians and Margaret all in one lineup!

Herd check is teamwork, science, sharp eyes, and probably at least one cow pretending she didn’t see the headlock coming.

We’re grateful for women who know their stuff, aren’t afraid of a little barn dust and cold weather. They are all insteumental in helping us keep this dairy running strong. Turns out the real boss ladies of the barn might not even be the cows. 😉

Merry Christmas from all of us at Newmont Farm 🎄🐄

❤️ Yesterday included a morning trip to the barn to make sure everything was running smoothly, then the rest of the day was spent soaking up family time. We love watching the next generation celebrate together! Lots of laughing, playing, and making memories of their own. Cousin time truly is the best time.

🐄 We’re incredibly grateful for the amazing employees at Newmont who make it possible for us to step away and spend the day together. We hope your day was filled with love, tradition, and gratitude.
