Well tragedy has struck the farm as a goat owner you get used to losing goats it’s just part of the business you show up and the craziest things that happen usually it’s a kid goat or Nanny but unfortunately yesterday morning I pulled up and BLUE ROCKER ( aka Blue )was gone.. He was my first 100% New Zealand buck he’s kind of what started all this going down Kiko Road 4 years ago I never had a problem out of him never knew anything was wrong. I sure will miss his pretty blue babies.
But the story isn’t over. I have a few daughters and one son. We’ll see if he can keep up with his Old Man. Last pics are his son

Welcome VLE AVALANCHE to the Farm !! We are Extremely Proud to have gotten this buck at Bluegrass Performance Invitational this weekend and can’t wait to see what his performance genetics do for us in skullbone … I spoke to Tom Elliott at the sale about this buck and told him I need a BREEDER that would get to work quickly and he didn’t disappoint I believe he bred a doe in the truck before we ever left the sale barn ..
VLE Avalanche is a yearling NZ buck. He had a Final index of 108.4 with ADG index of 129.9 and FEC index of 103.8 in the 2025 WV Buck Test. His performance along with a group of half brothers made Iron Bridge Farms the #10 farm on the 2025 WV Test. His sire LOO Ace's Last Chapter has produced the #4 Overall #9 ADG #13 FEC #4 USDA buck and the #6 ADG bucks in the 2024 MS Buck Test, as well as, the #3 Overall/ #4 FEC and #11 bucks in the 2025 WV Buck Test. Pictured is his Sire , Gran Sire and Great Gran Sire
