Pre-matinee lunch with my mom at Revel and Rye Bar & Restaurant on the 8th floor of the Marriott Marquis before heading to the theater. 🎭

The Bloody Mary ($19) was pretty basic and, honestly, disappointing. My mom’s turkey club ($24) was huge, fresh, delicious, and very filling, while the fries were just okay. I ordered the mussels with garlic, mirepoix, and truffle cream ($18), and they were so good - flavorful, filling, and one of the better values on the menu.

Service was great & the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Manhattan prices, but the food was good. A solid pre-Broadway pick! 👍

Good food, good company, and a lovely evening in Monaghan, Ireland 🇮🇪

The mussels Provençale, chicken & mushroom vol au vent, Bailey’s cheesecake, and raspberry & white chocolate roulade were all outstanding. A wonderful meal at The Bistro in the . 🍽️✨

A cozy lunch stop in Monaghan 🍀

We tried:
-Crispy fried Brie with house salad & berry sauce
-Vegetable soup with brown bread
-Roast turkey & baked Monaghan ham with herb stuffing

Comfort food and exactly the kind of cozy pub atmosphere you hope to find in Ireland.

When Mom requests a crab dinner and the famous tuxedo cake she discovered on Reels (a very hip mama 💁🏼‍♀️), you build the whole Mother’s Day menu around it!

We started with shrimp cocktail, then went all in with Dungeness + snow crab, mac & cheese, cole slaw, and creamed spinach (the only non-Costco item on the table 😅). And for dessert: the tuxedo cake everyone talks about for good reason - rich, chocolatey, and delicious.

Safe to say we had one very happy mom ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, grandmas, bonus moms, mother figures, and caregivers out there!

Working full-time but still want to sit down together for a good dinner 😅

These Fresh Express chopped kits made it way too easy to throw together something that felt elevated.

We were influenced…and we don’t regret it 👀

Tried mackerel nigiri for the first time after seeing it hyped by and it’s definitely different. Rich, bold, not your typical sushi order.

Also…getting great sushi at an Irish bar will never not be funny to us 🍀

Will it replace our go-to rolls? TBD.
But we’d order it again just to figure it out.

Heard all the hype about .nj …and somehow it still exceeded expectations.

Garlic bread? Checks out.
Steak? Perfect.
Shrimp parm + spicy vodka rigatoni? Unreal.
Tiramisu? Still talking about it.

And the service by Andy matched the food (which says a lot).

10/10, no notes. Can’t wait to come back.

If you’re looking to upgrade your snack game, Chips are crispy, super flavorful, plant-based, and packed with protein. Tried both flavors but beelined it straight to the truffle first 🙃
