Thanks to everyone who came out to Hoppy Pig last night for our Tap Takeover event, especially with all of the severe weather and tornados circulating around the area!

We had a blast giving out sample and swag to all of our patrons. Look out for more sampling events occurring soon in Kankakee County, and be sure to visit Hoppy Pig to grab a pint of Tridentine beer on tap!

Tridentine Brewing is thrilled to introduce the sixth beer into our commercial lineup, just in time for June: Sacred Flame Imperial Red Ale! Made in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, this brew couldn’t arrive at a better time to celebrate the United States of America being consecrated by the U.S. bishops to His Sacred Heart on June 11th, 2026.

Our number one goal with this beer is to spread devotion to the Sacred Heart, which is why this is a collaboration brew with two other Catholic brewers: Chainsaw Brewing and Shorthead Brewing Both Chainsaw and Shorthead are up in Washington state, and have brewed their own batches of Sacred Flame. For those in the Pacific Northwest, stop on by Shorthead Brewing to snag some!

Tridentine brewed Sacred Flame Imperial Red Ale is starting to make its way onto retail shelves in Wisconsin and Illinois. The list will continue to be updated as the beer makes its way to further restaurants, bars, and retailers.

Every single one of our commercial cans is adorned by artwork created by the insanely talented Chris Lewis of Baritus Catholic Illustration fame, and this one is no different. Chris has outdone himself yet again, and we are confident that Our Lord is pleased with how He is represented.

The description on the side of the can says it all about this impressive 10% ABV brew: “With a rich crimson hue and a hearty character, this massive imperial red ale reminds us of the divine charity that burst forth the Sacred Heart of Jesus for humanity. May the sweet flame of His love consume our souls, so that we may die to the world for love of Him, who sacrificed Himself upon the cross for love of us.”
