This is the beginning of a very busy growing season for us.. We've got tomatoes, peppers, okra, cauliflower, broccoli, peas, rhubarb, asparagus, and even watermelons started. If you could choose one thing for us to grow what would it be??? :)

Homegrown Christmas breakfast. Pasture raised bacon, homegrown taters and farm fresh eggs laid the day before. Everything but the salt and pepper were sourced from our own property. What an amazing feeling to be able to feed ourselves and share with others this year! Big thanks to everyone that has supported us this year!

We've been selling Pico and at this point ​if you need me I'll be sourcing Roma tomatoes and trying to figure out if we can write off the cost of our biggest cutting board and bowls 😅😅😅 (truth be told I had to buy an 8qt food storage container to make it in because we are making so much at a time!) $5/pint or $10/quart - pre-orders required and since Rob's the one with the magic Pico touch it can only be made when he's got a day off!

And that's a wrap on the 2025 summer garden! Anyone need peppers? We've got em!!! But you'll have to hurry and place your orders before we process them for the freezer. We are doing 3 small bell peppers for $1. Cubanelle and Big Jim peppers 2 or 3/$1 depending on size. Jalapeños 4 for $1.

We may be mortgage poor but we are veggie rich! :) It's another canning day! Yesterday I canned 8 jars of rotel tomatoes (diced tomatoes, jalapeños, green bell peppers and onions) and 6 jars of pepper rings. Today I'm canning spaghetti sauce and green beans.

Chili Rellenos for dinner tonight. Cubanelle Peppers fresh from the garden stuffed with Mexican cheese and breaded and fried then placed on tomato sauce made from tomatoes from our garden. SO Good! If you want to try your hand at making chili rellenos, we've got the cubanelles for $1 each! Let us know if you want to place an order!

Oh little baby bean, you don't know how long we have planned and prayed for you! We've tried so many times (3 replants) and did everything we could to ensure our best chance of success (watering religiously and chasing the deer away) and here you are!! :) we couldn't be happier!! Now, if the deer will leave you alone for just another week or two we can share you (and the others) with all of our family and friends! 😆
